Let's see some pictures of how you mounted your ice chest while going off road.

I'm looking at possibly using pop rivets with some angle iron as the base, somewhere in the bed.

Who uses ice any more? ARB, once you have one you never go back to ice.

Banged out a quick mount on the CNC to keep it in place next week while pre-running the Baja 1000 course. Anchored to the bed bolts.

Do you keep your fridge mounted and running 24*7 or just on outings?

I use to run mine in my rubi on an odyssey battery 24*7 so I'm curious if you have had good luck with the stock raptor battery.

I haven’t used the fridge in my new raptor yet, but I use it all the time on my super duty. Have had it run for 3 days no problem.

I went with the Orca 58. They sell mounting straps that secure the cooler in place, and still allow the lid to open. The brackets for the straps sit nicely between the humps on the bottom of my bed, which is nice so they don't become a stop block while I'm pushing cargo into the bed. I will be using pop rivets to secure the brackets.

Here's what I came up with. Baja tested, pic was taken at Mike's Sky Ranch Baja. You can access each cooler from the side of the truck with-out removing them and they are locked in with 1 1/2 allens & at nite the coolers can be locked closed with long throw master locks. Beer on 1 side, water & such on the other side.

Just did this tonight. I cut the feet so they fit perfectly in the grooves of the bed. I can open the lid fully while secured, and it doesn't even touch the tailgate, or extender.

Now I'll wait and see how the aluminum pop rivets hold up when I nail a whoop in the desert asst 60mph!! Haha
