Baja Designs: General Discussion Thread

In case any of you guys have Rigid or China flush mount LED Pods, and want to convert over to Baja Designs, their dual sport faceplates work great for that purpose. Just drill 4 holes and they'll bolt right up to your existing hole cut in your bumper, tailgate, etc...

Just picked up my raptor and I'm looking for a pair of LED pods for the a-pillar to combat the dust at night. What would you guys recommend?

We wouldn't recommend A-Pillar or Roof mounted lighting for driving in poor conditions. The reason being is any light at that location will cause excess glare on the hood and windshield when conditions are poor.

We do offer our Squadron and XL Series Lights with Amber Rock Guards for a quick and easy change from Amber to White or Vice Versa.

The optimal pattern for cutting through dust is our Wide Cornering or Wide Driving. From there I would go with Driving/Combo before going to Spot

We have received lots of phone calls, emails, and private messages regarding something really cool at SEMA. They don't call us The Scientists of Lighting for nothing! We started with Halogen then HID, then LED, and NOW Laser technology! We are still in the prototyping stage. We still have improvements to make before they are ready for launch. As they are now, they provide a great increase in intensity distance over our high performance Racer Edition series, but as we dial them in more we are expecting some really exciting results!

what kind of distance are you seeing with these? and what size bar? i know the video on Facebook said you guys were still expecting lots more out of them.
