Yes. Just talked to Ford Performance a few minutes ago and they're "working on a tune that will be under the factory warranty and it'll be available this year."

So, we're still waiting...

hopefully it's not like their "AirPlay" support by end of 2016 - with soft launch in March 2017... ugh

The guy leading Raptor Assult said the rearend was maxed out and it would take a major redesign before the engine could be upgraded. He said the rear diff and diff locker were at their design limits and they are seeing lots of wear on the pins in the u-joints.

But that is on truck beat to shit off-road 100% of the time too .... if it could hold 600at the crank on gen1 SC the gen 2 should be fine to around those levels at least

Yes you are right, the differential won't explode instantly at those levels, but it probably won't make 100k either. If you don't plan on owning the truck that long, then no biggie.

All I'm doing is relaying what the lead guy at Raptor Assault told the class. He raced the Raptor in the Baja 500 for Ford and has a company that makes performance parts for the Raptor. If you know more about this truck than he does, good for you.

Nope. I don't. And it's still pure speculation about things that might/could go wrong at 100,000 or more or less miles.

There's a good reason most people avoid used tuned vehicles and why they sell at a discount. More power = more problems.
