might look a touch better than a gen1 scab, even though i am partial to the gen1 screw. are those 37's? like the wheels.

i can't say that i've ever seen a gen2 scab in the wild. quite a few gen juan's running around tucson though.

for serious off roading, i can see the scab being the best for tight places but thats not really what raptors where made for i guess. the scab might be a bit twitchy at high speed as someone mentioned. the screw is nice for a pavement prowler though. haha

saw this in tucson today. didnt get out and inspect close but is that a gen1? there were a couple guys by the trailer, i should have stopped and talked.

lucky....i've never seen a battery go more than 4-5 years here in the desert. 3-4 months of 90-100 degree heat kills them. back in my diesel days it was especially painful since you had to replace both batts.

original engine? if so that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. any valve springs break along the way? how about the transmission?

lol, just a bit. first time i did a fast run on some dirt i literally lol’ed at the end. 50-60mph up a well bladed twisty road then just last weekend we went north of tucson…willow springs rd to dudleyville. 60-65mph and didnt feel i was pushing. if it was a closed course a guy could do 75-80...

been about 4 months now and i am still amazed at the 6.2. not the power of an EB raptor but for an naturally aspirated v8, it sure likes to pull all the way to redline and willing to rev at any RPM. my 5.4 truck was a little underwhelming over about 40-50mph.

driven F series for a long time now, '86 F250 with 460, couple of 6.0 PSD's and lastly a 2010 f150 lariat 5.4. time came for a new truck and couldnt bring myself to get 5.0 f150, i considered getting a crate motor for the 2010 since i loved that truck. had been looking for a f250 with 6.2 but...

thanks for that info and i had just got done reading a sticky that had some info, makes a complete picture now my shop had the camber kit and installed it. just need to mark it and loctite it now i guess. my buddy is a hack and will never get one, until he has too. lol

i ran a PC for about a month on my 6.2 and unplugged it. dont need that much response for city or off road. i'm a lead foot but its too touchy for me. i have a PC on my gen5 4runner and keep it on city mode, low to high depending on whats going on.
