Fuel Economy/Range can be important. My wife and I make a yearly trip to San Juan Island. Below is an example of fuel economy in my old Raptor and the TRX (we stayed on the island longer with the TRX so more miles). Hand calculated fuel economy on the TRX was damn near spot on to the gauge, I...
Former Gen II Raptor owner and current TRX owner:
One of the reasons I went to the TRX in 2021 was used prices on the Raptor went stupid, and I traded it for more than I paid for it by around $4,000. The allure of the Hellcat motor was too hard to pass up. After almost 3 years and 30,000 miles...
Local Lithia Ford Dealership - all Raptors are marked up. Same dealer with 21 Lightning’s and 11 Mach-E’s on the lot. Yet another reason vehicle purchases I make are normally out of town, and usually out of state.

I ordered my 2021 TRX without the HUD, and a few times have wondered if that was a mistake? Late last year I got to drive one with the HUD and it was cool, but I was glad I didn’t pay for it. To me it wouldn’t have been worth the extra...
To be fair, I did have a Raptor for a while. It was a pretty damn nice truck. I just preferred the V8 and at the time Ford didn’t offer one. Now that they do, it’s outside of my price range (especially with ADM’s).
